History
The company was founded in 1992 as Kombiverkehr-CS, a hundred percent owned subsidiary of the German combined transport operator Kombiverkehr.
In 1995 new shareholders entered the company:
- Czech Railways, a.s.
- The Association of Road Transport Operators ČESMAD Bohemia,
- Union of Freight Forwarding and Warehousing, Czech Republic,
- ÖKOMBI – an Austrian combined transport company.
Simultaneously the company changed its name to Bohemiakombi spol. s r.o.
Since 1996 BOHEMIAKOMBI has been a member of the International Union of Combined Road-Rail Transport Companies (UIRR - Union Internationale des sociétés de transport combiné Rail-Route).
